Do you currently live in a city? What would you say is the primary public space or
building in that city? If you live in a small town or village, you should still be able
to identify the main civic space. If you live in a remote location far from a gathered
community, choose a public space in an urban area you have been to before.
Find a (high-resolution) aerial photo OR plan style drawing of that space. What
makes it successful, and unsuccessful? Can you compare it to one of the sites seen
in this module?
